Peace Buttons

Twenty years of remembering and working for peace. This year, the MCC peace button will celebrate its 20th anniversary. The button was created in Canada as a peace-oriented alternative to the popular Remembrance Day practice of wearing poppies. Each November, scores of peace buttons appear – on shirts, backpacks and purses across Canada. The button works equally well as a call to peace in the U.S., for Veterans Day. Share a message of peace. MCC buttons are 1 3/4 inches (4.3 centimeters) in diameter and in three colors (red, yellow and white).
